    Man dead after targeted shooting in Largo; Prince George’s County police investigating

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Police in Prince George’s County said that a man was shot and killed near Largo Town Center on Friday afternoon.

    In a post on the X platform, the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said that officers responded to the 1000 block of Largo Center Dr. around 1:10 p.m. for the shooting.

    Responding officers saw a man in the road who had been shot. He died there.

    PGPD said that investigators do not think the shooting was random. Detectives were still on the scene to determine any suspects or motives.

    According to the X post, Medical Center Drive from Largo Center Drive to Landover Road was closed as of 2 p.m.
