    Several car tires slashed in Herndon, police say

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Several car tires have been slashed in Herndon over the past week and a half, according to police.

    In a post on X just after noon on Sept. 23, Herndon police said that their department had received multiple calls for slashed tires in town and that 15 vehicles had been identified.

    As a result, police encourage residents to take precautions and park in well-lit, familiar areas.

    Anyone who sees something suspicious can call Herndon police’s non-emergency line at 703-435-6846.
