Frederick Flying Cows looking for new players to join basketball team

FREDERICK, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Have you ever wanted to play professional basketball, well now is your chance.

The Frederick Flying Cows are hosting tryouts for the 2025 TBL professional basketball season. It’s an opportunity to show off your skills in front of the team’s coaching staff and management.

Team General Manager Chris Jenkins and player Tavares Sledge stopped by the DC News Now studio to talk about the tryouts and the team.

Tryouts are on Oct. 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Hood College Woods Bank Arena, located at 601 Blazer Trail, in Frederick.
