FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Aubree Masud and Adithya Kapoor are students from Langley High School in McLean, Virginia who have formed an organization called Wealth Wise Teens. It teaches financial literacy to different schools, community centers and libraries.

They started this group after noticing that financial literacy was not taught in their regular classes and often wished that they had learned topics like investing at a younger age.

SNAP increases – and changes to who qualifies – take effect Oct. 1

Aubree and Adithya are passionate about sharing their knowledge on subjects such as saving money, investing, budgeting and entrepreneurship with the younger generation.

Wealth Wise Teen currently teaches middle school students but hopes to expand to other schools across Virginia.
