    Injured Canadian Goose in Stafford County sent to rehabilitation center for recovery

    STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office rescued a Canadian Goose after it got hurt earlier this week.

    The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that the goose flew into the glass of a home’s second-story window on Sept. 22 in Rappahannock Landing.

    The impact left the goose injured and in need of medical attention, the office stated.

    The goose was rescued and sent to the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center for rehabilitation.
