Man dead, another hospitalized after major crash in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — One man is dead and another is recovering in the hospital after a major crash in the Logan Cirlce area of D.C. on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told DC News Now that the crash happened on Sept. 30 at the intersection of 13th and R Street Northwest.

There, officers found a man dead.

Police said they located another man unconscious and barely breathing. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

His condition was unknown as of Monday afternoon.

The name of the man who died at the scene had not been released.

MPD was continuing to investigate the crash.
