    Police arrest third person in Tysons Chanel theft case; woman accused of stealing over $100K in items

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — On Monday, police in Fairfax County announced the third arrest related to a high-end retail store theft that happened in June.

    The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said that the U.S. Marshals arrested 27-year-old Martina Lyons in Pennsylvania on Sept. 26.

    Lyons was charged for her involvement in a robbery in Tysons Corner. FCPD said that Lyons and other suspects stole over $100,000 in merchandise from Chanel on June 25. A total of five people — two men and three women — went into the store in the 20000 block of International Drive and stole handbags.

    FCPD said that during the theft, one man sprayed a loss prevention employee with a fire extinguisher to help escape.

    On Aug. 7, FCPD arrested one of the suspects and identified two others, including Lyons. A second person was arrested on Aug. 15.

    Lyons was charged with robbery, larceny with intent to sell, conspiracy to commit a felony, assault with a caustic substance, organized retail theft, destruction of property, trespassing and petit larceny.

    FCPD said that she was released on bond and is awaiting a court date in Fairfax County.

    Investigators were still working to identify four suspects involved in the robbery.

    Damnnnnn shame they let her out on bond. She and the other two broads will flip on the men and they will get a slap on the wrist, watch and see.
