    Kick off October with ‘Parkoberfest’ in Chantilly

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Kick off the start of October in Chantilly at Parktoberfest on Saturday!

    The event will be held on Oct. 5 at noon at the Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Location’s Visitor Center and Amphitheater in Chantilly.

    October is National Adopt a Dog Month: Animal shelters around the DMV

    There will be live music, food and beverages from local vendors, a display of artisans’ work, nature crafts and more.
