Police: Man shot, hurt in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — D.C. police said a man was shot in Northwest D.C. Wednesday night.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of N. Street at around 7:30 p.m. There, officers found a man who was shot.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. He was still conscious and breathing.

MPD said it did not have information on who was involved at this time.
