    Prince George’s County officer injured in crash; driver of other car ran away

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A Prince George’s County officer was injured on Thursday after a car crash.

    The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said that a crash happened between a civilian car and a cruiser around 2:50 a.m. at Central Avenue and Addison Road.

    The officer, who is assigned to PGPD’s K9 section, had minor injuries. Police said that his canines were doing well.

    PGPD said that the driver of the other car ran away from the scene of the crash.

    There was a passenger in the other car who was injured. PGPD said that passenger is expected to survive.

    The investigation was ongoing as of Thursday afternoon.

    So the driver doesn't think 🤔 that the passenger isn't going to tell who was driving??? The driver literally left the injured passenger to fend for themselves, SMH!!!
