    DC police arrest man in fatal shooting from May

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in May in Southeast D.C.

    On May 1 at about 12:23 p.m., MPD responded to the report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE. There, they found 32-year-old Thomas Carlos Felder suffering from gunshot wounds.

    He died at the scene.

    Just over five months after the shooting, MPD said they arrested 26-year-old James Rice of Southeast D.C. He was charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated).
