Police identify man killed in Northwest DC shooting

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it has identified a man who was killed in a Northwest D.C. shooting on Oct. 2.

Police said that at about 7:25 p.m., they responded to a shooting in the 700 block of N Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

Responders took the man to the hospital, where he died a few days later on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Police identified him as 43-year-old Tiara Thompson of Northwest.
