    I-395 at Maine Avenue shut down after fuel spill in DC

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Officials said Interstate 395 at Maine Avenue was shut down Monday morning after a fuel spill.

    Vito Maggiolo with DC Fire and EMS told DC News Now that around 6:45 a.m., units, a hazmat crew and a sand truck were requested to assist with the spill.

    Details about what led to the incident are limited; however, officials said the fuel was coming from a tractor-trailer that was sitting on the side of the road.
