    DC police seeking suspect in two phone thefts

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that it was looking for a man suspected of stealing two phones in the District.

    In a news release published Monday, MPD said that the man pictured below allegedly stole two phones overnight during the weekend.

    3 dead, 1 arrested after Southeast DC house fire, police say

    MPD said that officers responded to the 900 block of U Street NW around midnight on Sunday for a reported robbery.

    The victim told police that he was standing outside when “the suspect snatched the victim’s phone from his hands.”

    MPD said that the man took another phone from a table before escaping.
