    2-alarm house fire in Falls Church area of Fairfax County

    FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Crews worked to bring a house fire in the Falls Church area under control Wednesday afternoon.

    Fairfax County Fire and Rescue (FCFR) posted about the two-alarm fire on the X platform at 2:12 p.m. The post said the fire was in the 3100 block of Valley Lane, adding that everyone who was inside the home was able to get out of it.

    No one was hurt at the time of the post.

    That remained true by the time FCFR shared a follow-up post at 3:03 p.m. In it, the department noted that the fire was under control.
