    Free flu, COVID vaccination clinics coming to Montgomery County

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — This flu season, residents will be able to get free flu and COVID-19 vaccinations in Montgomery County.

    The clinics will be open to adults and school-aged children, and shots will be given for free. Those who are uninsured or underinsured will still be able to receive a COVID vaccination at no cost, according to the county website.

    The clinics will be held at:

    Universities at Shady Grove: 9630 Gudelsky Drive, Building II, Rockville

    • Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 2-6 p.m.
    • Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 2-6 p.m.

    Clifton Baptist Church: 8818 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring

    • Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

    Sri Lanka Community Buddhist Temple: 2600 Elmont St., Silver Spring

    • Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

    Dennis Avenue Health Center: 2000 Dennis Ave., Silver Spring

    • Monday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
    • Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
    • Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
