Car crashes into power pole in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said people were injured after a car crashed into a power pole on Wednesday afternoon.

In a post on X at 3:49 p.m ., police said they were at the scene of a single-vehicle crash after a car crashed into a power pole.

Officers said the injuries reported were minor.

As of 3:50 p.m., eastbound and westbound lanes of Franconia Road were closed between Ridge View Drive and Cle rmont Drive in Rose Hill.

Crews were en route to make repairs.
