Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting prompts road closures in DC

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) will be hosting its 2024 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Northwest D.C., prompting some road closures.

The Metropolitan Police Department said from Oct. 14 to Oct. 16, these roads will be closed to traffic:

• Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Any cars illegally parked on these streets will be ticketed and towed.

Drivers should expect delays and are asked to find other ways around the closures.
