There were no other reported injuries.

Shopper Janee Massie is concerned about safety, Friday she visited Iverson Mall and says she wants to see more security to keep people safe.

“I think we should have more security just like we have airport security with TSA agents and so I think we need security.  I think this is scary because it makes people not to want to out and about anymore” Massie said.

Jay is another shopper who has concerns, he did not want DC News Now to use his last name out of caution.

“It is sad in this community we cannot go anywhere without it being safe or worried about looking over our shoulder it is crazy.  And I live right down the street and I have kids, and what if a stray bullet hit kids, this is scary” he said.

PGPD said a responding officer saw three men walking a half mile from the scene who matched the descriptions of the suspects. Police asked the men to stop, but they started to run.

Officers were able to arrest one of the suspects. They recovered a gun from him.

At about 11:30 p.m., officers found and arrested the other suspect after a traffic stop in the area of 28 th Avenue and St. Barnabas Road in Temple Hills.

Two ghost guns were found in the car.

The suspects are in the custody of the Department of Corrections.
