    Person shot in Manassas parking lot during shoe sale, police say

    PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) said a person was shot in a parking lot after arranging a meet-up to sell shoes to a stranger on Saturday afternoon.

    Police said that at about 3:37 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot in the 11100 block of Bulloch Drive.

    Once on the scene, they found a person who had been shot.

    The person had non-life-threatening injuries, and no other injuries or property damage were reported.

    Police said the suspect left the scene and headed towards Interstate 66 in a black Infiniti G35 with tinted windows.

    The PWCPD said the incident was not random, adding that the victim had arranged to sell shoes to a stranger over social media. After a struggle ensued between the two parties, the victim was shot.
