    Maryland State Police search for suspect after road rage shooting on I-270

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Maryland State Police (MSP) are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect following an apparent road rage shooting in Montgomery County on Friday night.

    According to MSP, the victim told troopers they were traveling northbound on Interstate 270, south of Montgomery Village, at around 10:40 p.m., when an unknown suspect, driving a “newer model green pickup,” advised them to pull over.

    Maryland State Police warn residents of Gmail scheme

    When they refused to stop, the unknown suspect allegedly fired a shot into their vehicle.

    The victim was uninjured.

    MSP encourages anyone with information to contact them at 301-424-2101.

    That does not sound like road rage but more like they were being targeted for a crime. Glad they are safe.
