    Woman hospitalized after house fire in Seat Pleasant, fire officials say

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A woman was seriously injured after a fire broke out at a home in Seat Pleasant on Tuesday, according to the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD).

    In a post on X , PGFD said crews were dispatched at around 12:50 p.m. for a house fire in the 300 block of Addison Road South.

    Once on scene, firefighters discovered the flames in the attic of a single-family home. As of 1:55 p.m., responders extinguished the fire, and fire investigators were heading to the scene.
