2024 Big South Men’s, Women’s Basketball Preseason Polls

CHARLOTTE, NC (WFXR) — The Big South Women’s Basketball preseason poll is out and High Point was picked to win the league. The Radford Highlanders getting the nod for 2nd. Charleston Southern is 3rd, Winthrop is 4th and the Longwood Lancers are 7th. A pair of Highlanders getting preseason league love.

Graduate guard-forward Adriana Shipp-Davis earned the 1st team all Big South preseason honors and on the second team sophomore guard Joi Williams earned the 2nd team Big South all preseason.

In the men’s Big South preseason poll, High Point was picked to win the league with Wintrhop 2nd, the Longwood Lancers 3rd, UNC-Asheville 4th and the Radford Highlanders earning the 7th spot.
