    Man injured in Southeast DC shooting, police say

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was shot in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday morning.

    Police said that shortly after 11 a.m., they were dispatched to a shooting in the 3200 block of Dubois Place.

    The man was taken to the hospital conscious and breathing.

    The shooting remains under investigation by the MPD.
