44th Butler’s Orchard Pumpkin Festival returns to Montgomery County with new playground, food, pumpkins

MONGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Fall is here and an annual family tradition is back in Montgomery County. The Butler’s Orchard Pumpkin Festival has officially returned for its 44 ^th year.

“What we love about this time of year is that we really are a family tradition. We see lots of generations coming out together, enjoying the fall harvest,” said Tyler Butler, GM of Butler’s Orchard.

Butler said the festival has something for the entire family to enjoy, including farm animals, a pumpkin cannon, corn and straw maze, and of course, a pumpkin patch.

“We have so many attractions and activities and food to eat, it’s such a wonderful time to get out and enjoy fun on the farm,” he explained.

The Pumpkin Festival kicked off on Sept. 21 and will run until Nov. 3.
