    Crews extinguish fire at apartment building in Prince George’s County

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Two people were taken to the hospital for a check-up after a fire broke out at the Presidential Towers Condominiums, in Prince George’s County early Friday morning.

    In a post on the X platform , the Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) said just after 5 a.m. crews responded to an apartment building fire in the 1800 block of Metzerott Road, in Adelphi.

    Once on the scene, crews located the fire on the eighth floor.

    The fire department said the fire was out and was contained to one unit.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
