    2-car crash damages, causes water leak to Pepco building in Montgomery County

    MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — A two-car crash caused a water leak at a Pepco building in Montgomery County Sunday night.

    Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson, Pete Piringer, said two cars were involved in a crash at 4100 Colie Dr. near Barbara Road and Viers Mill Village.

    During the crash, one car veered off the road and hit a nearby Pepco Substation Building causing a water feed leak. The wall of the building was also damaged.

    Due to the water leak and structural damage, the area has been blocked off.

    Pepco and WSSC Water have been notified of the incident.
