Small t-storm chance areas south/west today
The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…. It’s a rather quiet start to this final day of our weekend with partly cloudy skies. Low pressure to our west is pushing in these early morning clouds, and this system plus the warmer temps and touch of humidity we’re experiencing at this early hour are going to help fuel the chance for pop-up thunderstorms mostly south/west of Green Bay this afternoon.
Green Bay Rockets roll over Lake Shore Chinooks
Mequon, Wis. – The Green Bay Rockers (8-8) routed the Lakeshore Chinooks (6-9) tonight 10-3 in large part thanks to DH Jake Bold (Princeton). The cleanup hitter went two-for-four at the plate, totaling six RBI — the most for any Rocker in a single game this summer. Bold and Green Bay are back at home to take on Fond du Lac at 3:05 p.m. tomorrow.

Appleton Public Library: Volunteers needed to keep the children’s section organized by assisting with cart ordering and/or shelving. Shelving involves pushing a cart, placing items in order, and tidying books. Cart ordering involves arranging items on carts, and can be done while seated. Monday is shaping up to be partly cloudy and seasonably warm with highs in the low to mid 80s. Cooler upper 70s are expected near Lake Michigan.
