Nebraska to host class of 2026 offensive lineman
The Nebraska Cornhuskers will host a class of 2026 offensive linemen this weekend. Deacon Schmitt will visit the Lincoln campus on July 27. Schmitt is a 6-foot-5, 290 offensive tackle from Windsor High School in Windsor, CO. He will take a visit to Oklahoma two days prior to his visit with the Cornhuskers. The prospect earned a scholarship offer from Nebraska after performing well in a Husker-run football camp in Lincoln last month. Offensive line coach Donovan Raiola extended the offer. Nebraska currently does not hold any commitments to the class of 2026. However, a flurry of recent offers has taken place as the 2025 cycle winds down, heading into the 2024 college football season.
