A new docuseries from Investigation Discovery following the rise and fall of Sean “Diddy” Combs from Maxine Productions ( Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV ) is in production.

Following allegations of abuse and assault that have permeated for years, Combs was arrested in New York on Monday. He made a court appearance earlier today where he was charged with sex trafficking and racketeering to which he pleaded not guilty. Judge Robyn Tarnofsky denied him bail and remanded him to Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to await his next court appearance on Wednesday where his lawyer Marc Agnifilo will appeal the judge’s decision.

While behind bars, Combs is being held in a special area for prisoners needing a higher level of protection from the general population. Agnifilo has promised to fight the charges alongside Combs whom he believes will clear his name.

ID says the docuseries, to premiere in 2025, explores “the rise and influence of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul. As accounts of sexual assault, abusive behaviors, and other disturbing claims surface, the doc traces the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy, unraveling allegations of a pattern of depravity.”

Additionally, the True Crime-focused channel will highlight the voices of his accusers “who have alleged acts of violence and brutality” and share “insight into unfolding allegations against the once untouchable superstar. It will also highlight the toxic power dynamic that played out within the industry and kept many survivors silenced – until now.”

The project is being produced for ID by Maxine Productions and IPC in association with Rolling Stone Films.
