Kirsten Dunst partied like it’s 1999 as she crashed a sleepover this weekend for a double feature of two of her most beloved movies.

The Academy Award nominee surprised fans as she appeared at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday for Cinespia ‘s ‘Kirsten Dunst Slumber Party’, celebrating the 25th anniversaries of Bring It On and The Virgin Suicides .

“I’m T-T-Torrance, your captain Torrance,” she told the crowd, quoting her Bring It On intro. “Let’s go, Toros!

“Oh my god, you guys. This is the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life,” added Dunst. “I am so overwhelmed. My friends and family are here, I’m gonna watch with you guys. I haven’t seen any of these movies since I was a teen myself, with an audience. I’m so honored.”

She went on to thank Cinespia and founder John Wyatt before introducing the first film.

Dunst starred in Peyton Reed ‘s Bring It On as high school cheerleading captain Torrance Shipman, who tries to lead her team to nationals with the help of new girl Missy ( Eliza Dushku ) after finding out her predecessor stole their award-winning cheers from crosstown rivals, led by captain Isis ( Gabrielle Union ).

The actress sang along to the opening cheer scene in a video she shared to Instagram.

In Sofia Coppola ‘s feature directorial debut The Virgin Suicides , Dunst played Lux Lisbon, one of five sheltered Lisbon sisters living in an upper-middle-class suburb of Detroit in 1975. Based on Jeffrey Eugenides’ 1993 novel, the movie follows the young women through the perspective of the neighborhood boys until they each meet a tragic end. The film also stars Josh Hartnett , James Woods , Kathleen Turner , AJ Cook , Jonathan Tucker and Robert Schwartzman .

Cinespia’s summer 2024 season closes out on Saturday, Sept. 14 with a screening of Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985) in tribute to the late Paul Reubens , who is buried at Hollywood Forever.
