Conan O’Brien Wants To Play A Gigolo In ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 & Pitched It To Mike White

Conan O’Brien has an idea for The White Lotus and pitched himself for a role.

In the latest episode of the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast, the comedian said he encountered series creator Mike White while in Bangkok.

“Before you guys started shooting The White Lotus , I ran into none other than Mike White in a restaurant,” O’Brien said on the August 19th episode with Walter Goggins as a guest. “I said, ‘Hey, so the next season of The White Lotus, you’re going down to Thailand, right?’ And he said, ‘Yeah.’ And I said, ‘I was there. I had a great time. I made a lot of friends.’”

O’Brien then told White, “If there’s a part for me, I’m available.’”

“He looked at me, and he said, ‘You know, there’s a lot of sex work there,'” O’Brien added, to which White said, “I could do that.”

O’Brien said, “I could play a part where I’m a male gigolo or something.”

Goggins, who is part of the cast of The White Lotus Season 3, said, “Yes, you could do that. I believe that you could do that.”

“Do you think I could play that part or do you think I actually could be a gigolo?” O’Brien jokingly asked,to which Goggins replied, “Well, I think you could do both. I think you could play that part and you could be that person in real life.”

The White Lotus Season 3 takes place in Thailand. The cast for the new season includes Carrie Coon, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Parker Posey, Scott Glenn, Season 1’s Natasha Rothwell, Aimee Lou Wood, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Jason Isaacs, Christian Friedel, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Tayme Thapthimthong, Nicholas Duvernay, Charlotte Le Bon and Arnas Fedaravičius.
