Rising Canadian actors Grace Glowicki ( Tito ) and Ben Petrie ( BlackBerry ) star, while Jason Isaacs ( Harry Potter saga ), Kate Dickie ( The W itch ), India Brown ( Invasion ) and Julian Richings ( Beau Is Afraid ) round out the cast.
The logline reads: “When Diana (Glowicki) wakes from a coma with fragmented memories, she and her husband (Petrie) seek experimental treatments at a remote facility. As the procedures intensify, their marriage is put to the test and Diana begins to question her husband’s true motives.”
The Canadian production is a part of XYZ’s New Visions slate of films designed to spotlight new talent.
The film is written by Sims-Fewer and Mancinelli and produced by Becky Yeboah, Sims-Fewer and Mancinelli. Blackberry producers Niv Fichman and Kevin Krikst, and Fraser Ash of Rhombus Media, reunite with star Petrie and XYZ Films. The latter is an executive producer alongside Will Woods, Tenille Shockey, François Dagenais, Adrian Love and Mike O’Leary.
XYZ co-financed with Telefilm and is handling worldwide sales outside of Canada/UK. Cat People produce in association with Rhombus Media, with the participation of Telefilm Canada and Ontario Creates. Elevation Pictures will distribute the film in Canada and Vertigo Releasing will distribute the film in the United Kingdom.

Glowicki is best known for directing and starring in the Canadian drama Tito , for which she won a SXSW Film Festival Special Jury Award. Petrie is best known for performances in the features BlackBerry , The Heirloom and Tito, in which he co-starred alongside Glowicki.
Recent pre-sales and production titles from the XYZ Films include 2024 TIFF Platform title Daniela Forever directed by Nacho Vigalondo and starring Henry Golding and Beatrice Grannó, Full Throttle Mindset starring Josh Duhamel and Lukas Gage, Flesh of the Gods , directed by Panos Cosmatos and starring Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac, and He Bled Neon with Joe Cole and Rita Ora.
