EXCLUSIVE : Molly Gordon ( Theater Camp ), Logan Lerman ( We Were the Lucky Ones ), Geraldine Viswanathan ( Drive-Away Dolls ) and John Reynolds ( Search Party ) are set to star in Oh, Hi! , an indie comedy written and to be directed by Sophie Brooks ( The Boy Downstairs ), who conceived the story with Gordon.

Entering production in New York this month, the film centers on Iris (Gordon) and Isaac (Lerman), whose first weekend away as a couple is going so well — until Isaac mentions he didn’t know they were a couple. Iris is sure he’s just confused….so she decides to hold him captive until they get on the same page.
Brooks and Gordon developed the project alongside producers David Brooks and Dan Clifton. Julie Waters will also produce for Watermark Media, which is financing with QWGmire, AmorFortuna, and Bespoke Production Capital. The executive producers are Evan Dyal, Molly C. Quinn, Matthew M. Welty, Elan Gale, Evan Moore, and Justin Brown.
UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent are representing the film for sales.
Perhaps best known for her role as Claire, the love interest of Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy, on FX’s acclaimed comedy The Bear , Gordon recently made her directorial debut opposite Nick Lieberman on Theater Camp , the acclaimed comedy that Searchlight snapped up out of Sundance in a highly competitive situation. She also co-wrote and starred in the pic, which hit theaters last July. In the past, Gordon has also been seen in films like You People , Shiva Baby and Booksmart , along with series like Winning Time , Animal Kingdom and Ramy . On the filmmaking front, she’s next set to reteam with Searchlight on the comedy Small Parts , which she’ll direct from her script written with Allie Levitan.
Most recently, Lerman starred opposite Joey King in Hulu’s Holocaust miniseries We Were the Lucky Ones . Prior to that, he starred opposite Al Pacino on Prime Video’s Hunters . In film, Lerman’s credits include Bullet Train , Shirley , Indignation , Fury , Noah , multiple Percy Jackson pics, Stuck in Love. , The Perks of Being a Wallflower and 3:10 to Yuma , among other titles. Also an emerging producer, Lerman was most recently involved in that respect with the IFC Films thriller Skincare , in theaters now.

Most recently starring in Joel Coen’s comedy Drive-Away Dolls , Viswanathan’s other film credits include The Beanie Bubble , Cat Person , Bad Education , Hala and Blockers . She starred opposite Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi on TBS’s comedy Miracle Workers , which ran for four seasons, and will next be seen starring in Marvel’s Thunderbolts* , as well as Amazon’s wedding comedy You’re Cordially Invited .
Best known for roles on shows like Yellowjackets , Stranger Things and Search Party , Reynolds has also been seen in Peacock’s comedy Genie , scripted by Richard Curtis, and Jeff Baena’s Netflix drama Horse Girl .
Brooks is coming off of her feature debut with The Boy Downstairs , a romantic dramedy starring Zosia Mamet and Matthew Shear, which was released by FilmRise after premiering at the Tribeca Festival.
