FX’s ‘Alien’ Earthbound Series From Noah Hawley Drops Logline & Teaser

Noah Hawley’s FX series Alien: Earth has revealed the show’s logline and went wide with a teaser trailer (above) that previously screened for a limited group of lucky moviegoers who watched Alien: Romulus .

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.

Lead by Chandler, the series also stars Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.

Documentary Rom-Com 'Patrice: The Movie' To Premiere On Hulu Following TIFF World Premiere

FX boss John Landgraf has previously described the show as a “big imaginative reimagining” of the Alien franchise and compared it to Hawley’s work on FX hit Fargo . He also confirmed that the show is “designed to be an ongoing series.”
