By the power of Jeff Goldblum , KAOS might just reign once again.

Although Netflix has yet to renew the series for Season 2, creator Charlie Covell ( The End of the F***ing World ) said the streaming platform has “been very supportive” of the show, which puts a contemporary spin on the classic tales of Greek mythology.

“I think anything is possible,” Covell told Cosmopolitan UK. “My dream was three seasons. I’ve got many ideas and a strong sense of what I’d want to do with it.”

They added about the potential for a sophomore season, “There’s definitely more. I also didn’t want to do an ending that was a total cliffhanger. I hope that it feels satisfying as a season one in its own right, and there’s always hope for the more. Because I really would love to do more and work with those actors and that team. It was a bit of a dream come true.”

Goldblum stars in KAOS as Zeus, who begins to fear his reign is ending as he spots a wrinkle on his forehead, making him paranoid and spiteful toward his devotees. Meanwhile, three mortals ( Aurora Perrineau , Misia Butler and Leila Farzad) set off on a journey to fulfill their identical prophecies.

The eight-episode season, which is now available to stream on Netflix, stars Janet McTeer as Hera, Nabhaan Rizwan as Dionysus, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, David Thewlis as Hades, Debi Mazar as Medusa and Stephen Dillane as Prometheus. The show also features Suzy Izzard , Billie Piper , Killian Scott and more.
