‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Adds Alyssa Limperis For Final Season

EXCLUSIVE : What We Do in the Shadows is heading into the corporate workplace for its final season and has added Alyssa Limperis to help.

‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Sets FX Premiere Date For Sixth & Final Season

The Flatbush Misdemeanors alum has joined the sixth and final season of the FX comedy, which premieres on October 21.

Limperis plays Lisa, who “works in a corporate environment” in the show, which stars Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillen, Mark Proksch and Kristen Schaal.

Limperis starred in Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors and has been in Universal Pictures’ feature The List , in Aunty Donna’s House on Netflix, voices multiple characters on the Cartoon Network show We Baby Bears and stars in the indie horror/comedy feature Too Late alongside Fred Armisen.

Best known for her viral mom videos, she also has an hourlong comedy special about losing her dad called No Bad Days on Peacock.

What We Do in the Shadows documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Novak), Laszlo (Berry), Nadja (Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their former familiar and current human friend, Guillermo (Guillén), as well as their vampire bureaucrat acquaintance, The Guide (Schaal).

After a very brief stint as a full-blown vampire, Guillermo is re-evaluating his life. Who is he if not a familiar who will do anything to please his Master in hopes of one day being turned into a vampire? Meanwhile, the vampires are re-evaluating, too. When their former roommate reappears after a 50-year nap, they realize how little they’ve done in half a century — not one goal accomplished, not one dream pursued, not one part of the New World conquered (except for their street and part of Ashley Street).

In the upcoming final season, Nandor, Nadja, Laszlo, Colin and Guillermo will enter the workforce, visit New Hampshire, go to a human dinner party, fête The Baron and conjure a demon — all while trying to find their place and their purpose in this crazy, mixed-up world.

Jemaine Clement, Sam Johnson, Sarah Naftalis, Yana Gorskaya, Taika Waititi, Garrett Basch and Eli Bush serve as executive producers along with Simms and Newacheck. What We Do in the Shadows is produced by FX Productions.
