EXCLUSIVE: Surprise! Samantha Logan is set to return to the CW’s All American for Season 7.

Deadline has learned that the series OG will make a guest appearance in Episode 2 of the upcoming season. While the details of her return are being kept under wraps, sources say that her character, Olivia Baker, will be reunited with her brother, Jordan, for a special occasion.

All American has undergone major cast changes, as several series regulars from the previous 6 seasons departed ahead of Season 7, including Logan. Daniel Ezra, who played Spencer James, is also no longer a series regular, though he is also expected to return as a guest star and will also direct. In the Season 6 finale, Olivia and Spencer got married.

It makes sense that Spencer and Olivia might not be around as often anymore, since the happy couple no longer lives in Los Angeles. Spencer was drafted to an NFL team and had to move to New York toward the end of Season 6, only returning to LA for his wedding. After the two tied the knot, Olivia moved with him. But, enough of their friends and family are still on the west coast to warrant a visit from time to time.

Fans would no doubt love to see Ezra and Logan appear in the same episode, but it’s not clear yet if that will happen in Season 7. Either way, viewers are likely to get an update on Spelivia from Logan’s appearance in Episode 2, with or without Ezra’s presence on screen.

Logan’s on-screen brother Michael Evans Behling, who plays Jordan, is set to return as a series regular for Season 7, along with Greta Onieogou, and Bre-Z. The series is also welcoming a few new faces as the story resets to follow a new generation of teenagers navigating high school in LA.

The OG vortex crew that remains will be “surprised to find they’re supposed to be the responsible adults now,” according to the Season 7 description.

In June, All American was renewed for a 13-episode seventh season. Its spinoff series, All American: Homecoming, ended its run on the CW in September after three seasons.

The series is from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios, with executive producers Nkechi Okoro Carroll, who serves as showrunner, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Jameal Turner, Mike Herro, and David Strauss.
