‘Under The Bridge’ Actress Vritika Gupta Signs With Echo Lake Entertainment

Gupta’s most recent credit is playing the heartbreaking role of Reena Virk in the limited series Under The Bridge for ABC Signature (now 20th Television) and Hulu. Set in Victoria, Canada, in 1997, the series tells the haunting true story of the disappearance and murder of 15-year-old Reena, based on Rebecca Godfrey’s acclaimed book of the same name.

Her work on the series, opposite Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough, has inspired her to look for anti-bullying and wellness organizations to become involved with, something she feels is “really important” in today’s society. Under the Bridge was created by Quinn Shephard, with Samir Mehta and Liz Tigelear serving as showrunners.

The 14-year-old, based in her native Washington, has previously spoken about how her sister inspired her interest in acting. Following classes and work in theater, Gupta secured work in short films and commercials. Following up on her breakout role in Under the Bridge , she plans to continue nurturing her passion for the art into a long-term career.
