    ‘The Penguin’ Musters Series High Audience With Episode 4, Tallying 1.7M U.S. Viewers

    The Penguin is halfway over, and audience interest is still growing.

    The fourth episode drew 1.7M viewers cross-platform viewers in the U.S., which is a season high premiere night audience, according to Warner Bros. Discovery.

    It’s a small lift from the second episode, when 1.6M tuned in , which already marked a 17% increase over the series premiere. The company that first episode has now tallied more than 13M viewers.

    When The Penguin debuted last month, it also had Max’s biggest 4-day audience for a new series in every region globally, since The Last of Us in Jan 2023, according to WBD.

    In the U.S., the series debut of the HBO Original averaged 5.3 million cross platform U.S. viewers over its weekend debut.

    The Penguin , which hails from DC Studios, is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc, who serves as writer and showrunner. Craig Zobel directed the first three episodes in addition to executive producing. Bill Carraro also executive produces.
