Four people, including two kids, stabbed to death in Bensonhurst apartment
BENSONHURST — A TRAGIC SCENE unfolded on West 8th Street in Bensonhurst late Friday night when a 24-year-old man allegedly stabbed his brother’s wife, mother and two children to death after a domestic dispute. Police say they responded at roughly 10:18 p.m. after receiving a 911 call of an assault in progress within an apartment. Upon arrival, officers found a 56-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds to her neck. Upon further investigation, they discovered a 27-year-old woman, a 5-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy all deceased inside the apartment. The victims were identified as Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 56; Maftuna Khakimova, 27; Kamila Shavkatova, 5; and Timur Shavkatov, 4. The 24-year-old suspect was taken into custody.

Off-duty NYPD officer arrested in Brooklyn: police
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Sunday night in Brooklyn, according to authorities. Noe Tattegrain, 37, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. He was charged with assault and suspended without pay, according to authorities.
