Starring Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi and Julianne Moore and featuring the iconic character, "The Dude," The Big Lebowski may be one of the great cult movies of all times.

Or, perhaps it's the most legendary bowling movie of all times.

Or, maybe The Big Lebowski is a philosophy about living a life that’s a little bit more carefree.

"Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man,” repeating one of The Dude's memorable quotes.

No matter how you define it, here's your chance to see it again. Check it out on the big screen and decide the movie's place in your own world and cultural perspective. The Big Lebowski is back in a few theatres around Atlanta for a special 25th anniversary screening, playing on big screens on April 16 and April 20. The movie is playing at several AMC and Regal theatres around the greater Atlanta area.

For those who missed the 1990s, this movie and the string of cultural references it generated, The Big Lebowski is a lifestyle movie centered around lead character, "The Dude," who loves bowling and adventures with his friends. Jeff Bridges iconically plays The Dude, described in the opening scenes as "a lazy man - and the Dude was most certainly that. Quite possibly the laziest in Los Angeles County, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide."

Whether lazy or laid back, The Dude's lifestyle and life choice take center stage in the zany and sometimes surprisingly frenetic comedy. Surrounding the Dude's laid-back style, there's a kidnapping, a car crash, a fight with a German Nihilist gang, an amputated toe in the mail, and lots more.

Plus, a largely unseen rug -- "it really tied the room together!"-- gets star-like references after thugs urinate on it during a break-in.

If none of this is making sense but sounds funny, go see the movie. If you've seen the movie and it makes perfect sense, grab a White Russian and go see the full size movie on the big screen. You know you want to. Just say yes! "The Dude abides."
