    Marietta Vet Day Parade: A True Community Salute

    A broad cross section of organizations will participate in the Marietta Veterans Day Parade, saluting current and former military personnel for their service to our country and community.

    Veterans, ROTC units, first responders, motorcycle clubs, community organizations, service clubs and lots of local high school bands will be among the more than 30 groups scheduled to parade in the event.

    According to information provided by American Legion Post 29 in Marietta, more than 30 different groups including over 1,000 participants will march, walk, ride and be propelled along the parade route.

    The parade steps off at 11 am on Saturday, Nov. 11. The 1.5 route travels west on Roswell Street, north on West Park Square to North Park Square, and ends at the intersection of Cherokee Street and Lawrence Street.
