Central High School football easily takes care of Winnetonka to begin season
(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - The Central High School football team started the 2024 season with a bang, knocking off Winnetonka 45-19 on Friday night. Vanderbilt commit Gabe Fields had multiple touchdowns on Friday, including a kickoff return for six. Central next plays at rival Benton next on Friday, September 6th.
Supt. Edgar says St. Joseph School District must stick to its plan
Unanimous approval by the St. Joseph School Board on a long-range plan will have the school district exploring building two new high schools in the city. Superintendent Gabe Edgar says the plan has been discussed since he took over the position in 2022 and was built heavily around the Vision Forward campaign.
