The Heavy (Instagram | Website), a mixed retail concept in the former Lombardi’s Seafood space in Winter Park, has closed. The popular plant warehouse was located in the former home of Lombardi’s Seafood, and famously (or infamously) had never removed the original mural from the side of the building. It called the space home for the past six years, hosting a series of award-winning food pop-ups (it was the temporary home to Papa Llama and The Foreigner before they opened brick-and-mortar restaurants) and public events.
