    City of Decatur unveils new and improved website

    DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The City of Decatur has a new and improved look for its website. City officials said the site is now cleaner, easier to navigate and more inviting.

    Open house to be held for newest rehabbed home in Decatur

    New features include:

    • A design optimized for mobile phones, but accessible from any device
    • The opportunity to subscribe to NotifyMe, multi-channel notifications on topics that matter most to each individual person, and a city newsletter
    • New search and navigation menus
    • The ability to report a concern like potholes and issues with garbage, code enforcement and more
    • Personalized accounts and logins
    • Published city council agendas and minutes

    Officials added that there may be areas in need of improvements and the website team will continue to fine tune the site and take suggestions. People can even use the “report a concern” feature to report a website issue.
