    Decatur Wings & Wheels event to feature drone and fireworks show

    DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — The Decatur Airport’s Wings & Wheels will pack this weekend with car and plane displays, and even a drone and fireworks show to celebrate the Decatur Park District’s 100th year.

    The event will be this Saturday and Sunday from 2-10 p.m. at the Decatur Airport, located at 910 South Airport Road.

    It will feature a static car, plane, tractor, and motorcycle show where visitors can learn all about the history behind each vehicle. There will also be a wing-eating contest, live music, a kid zone, food/drinks, and so much more.

    The night will be rounded out with a sky-centered spectacle, complete with drones, fireworks, and even a wall of fire.
