DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — Volunteers from ADM in Decatur will be handing out supply-filled backpacks to students during the Decatur Family YMCA’s annual Backpack Attack on Saturday.

From 9 a.m. to noon, more than 2,000 backpacks will be available for students who are entering kindergarten through 6th grade.

While ADM volunteers will be in attendance at only the Decatur Family YMCA, located at 220 West McKinley Avenue in Decatur, three other locations will also be giving away backpacks. That includes Old Kings Orchard Community Center, Johns Hill Magnet School, and the Boys & Girls Club of Decatur.

Students must be present at the event to receive their backpacks.
