Registration now open for 50-mile 2024 Niles Burn Run Weekend
NILES, Mich. -- Registration is currently still open for the Niles Burn Run Weekend, which kicks off Friday, at 7 p.m. with a concert at Riverfront Park. You can register for the run, here, which will be held on Sunday. Registration at the event will be open from 8 to 11 a.m., and organizers say kickstands go up at noon.

KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The city of Kalamazoo already has an aggressive program for planting trees along city streets and a $1-million grant is about to expand that. The money, from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, calls for removing 400 hazardous trees over the next four years from disadvantaged neighborhoods, replacing them and planting an additional 175 trees each year.
