‘Real Housewives Of Dubai’ Star Sara Al Madani Says Her “Reunion Dress Got Torn” Days Before Filming

Reunion week is upon The Real Housewives of Dubai stars. And while most of the ladies are likely prepping their receipts, Sara Al Madani is on the hunt for a new dress.

The entire cast, consisting of Al Madani, Caroline Stanbury , Caroline Brooks , Lesa Milan , Chanel Ayan and Taleen Marie , is in New York City this week to film the highly anticipated Season 2 reunion with moderator (and Real Housewives executive producer) Andy Cohen .

Al Madani, for her part, is used to remaining calm amid chaos, largely due to her background in spiritual healing. And if she didn’t get mad at her castmates for trying to ruin her friendship with Brooks by sharing an out-of-context voice message, then there was no way she was going to let a little tear in her reunion dress get to her.

“To me, life doesn’t happen to you, it happens for you. Even the bad things, I do not let it affect me. I embrace it,” Al Madani told DECIDER ahead of filming the reunion. “I’ll give you a very simple thing that’s happening right now but I’m very chill. My reunion dress got torn. And I’m very relaxed!”

She continued, “I’m very chill and we’re gonna go find a dress and everyone was like, ‘You should be dying, rolling in your bed.’ I was like, why? Why do I do this to myself? Just calm down.”

According to Al Madani, everything in life happens for a reason — even tearing her dress days before filming the reunion.

“I might not know it now, but I will definitely know in a month, in a year and you go like, ‘Oh, now I get it,’” she said. “And if you want to be resilient and strong, God’s not going to sprinkle you with that. You have to go through hardship so you can become stronger.”

As for the Season 2 reunion, Al Madani said there are “so many things” that need to be addressed among her castmates.

“I feel like reunion is gonna just be like shedding the light on so much truth, shedding the light on so much bullshit and lies and then showing people for their true colors because you cannot pretend for long,” she said. “The camera catches everything.”

The Real Housewives of Dubai airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock .
